How to: Type AutoCorrect entry to automatically replace text.
Solution:
Use the 'AutoCorrect...' command under the 'Tools' menu to add an abbreviation or incorrect spelling to automatically replace as typing.
NOTE: AutoCorrect can be used to automatically correct frequently mistyped text or replace frequently used abbreviations with the full word.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'AutoCorrect...'. (The AutoCorrect dialog box appears.)
2) Select the 'Replace Text as You Type' check box.

3) Type the text to be automatically corrected in the 'Replace' box.

EXAMPLE: Type 'sup' to use the abbreviation 'sup' to stand for the longer word 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'.
4) Type the correct or full-length text in the 'With' box.

EXAMPLE: Type 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' to use the abbreviation 'sup' to stand for the longer word 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'.
5) Click 'Add'. (The entry appears in the list at the bottom of the dialog box.)

6) Repeat steps 4) through 5) for each AutoCorrect entry to add.
7) Click 'OK'.
NOTE: AutoCorrect will not correct text that was typed before the 'Replace Text as You Type' check box was checked in the 'AutoCorrect' dialog box.
